What are the keys to your success? What sets you apart? What is the unserved market you identified?
What is most important about your company?

“Problems” can also appear as unmet needs or wants — for example, the lack of a good breakfast restaurants in your city. Describe one major problem or make a list.

What does your company offer? What is it about your solution that provides a uniquely effective remedy for their pain points? Don’t just name your products or services here. Give a sense of how they solve the problem in a novel or superior way. describe one major solution or make a short list?

. If you don’t have obvious direct competitors, focus on other ways that your target customers satisfy their needs now. You may have the only bowling alley in town, for example, but you’re still competing for entertainment spending that might otherwise go to movie theaters or restaurants or the local skating rink.

*Keep in mind that some countries have strict laws about soliciting investments. To be safe, limit your description to the planned use of funds. Do not describe what equity or other benefits you are offering in return for that funding.

Are you selling and delivering to your target customers directly through a retail store, website, or catalog? Do you have a sales team? Do you sell through intermediaries — distributors, dealers, resellers, or others?

What sort of online marketing do you do? Do you advertise online, in print, or elsewhere? Describe or make a list

What are your major costs of doing business? How will your expenses scale as your company grows? Do you need to budget for capital equipment, property, or other major purchases? List your major costs with the amounts (in priority order):

Include company owners and members of the management team. You may also want to add key employees with strategically valuable skills or connections, noteworthy roles you plan to fill later, trusted advisors, or other valuable contributors.

Add your major products, services, or other sources of revenue here. Try to organize them into sensible higher-level groups.

Enter any direct costs here. The idea behind direct costs is that every time you make a sale, you incur more costs.

This is where you will cover the salaries and related costs paid to yourself, your employees, and any contract workers. Depending on how big your company is, you can list every employee by name or title, or you can group them into common roles or departments if that makes more sense

Add all your company’s regular expenses here — rent, utilities, insurance, marketing costs, office supplies, and so on.
